Knots & Tangles:

Liking a fabric too much can be a problem: once it’s cut, there’s no turning back, so it can induce a paralyzing fear to take chances. Once I noticed the suggestion of motion in the background fabric, everything else moved along well.

Inspired by:

Desire to experiment. I hadn’t yet done much fabric collage, so I was eager to try out ways to play with materials, notions and threads.
