114 – Taking Shape

The “dark ride” building is a large structure and I need to take care that the architecture doesn’t overwhelm the purpose of the building. I’m choosing mostly shades of gray for this. Again, like painting, I am blocking in areas of color. It’s a process of getting closer and closer to what I envision. It doesn’t make sense to get too excited about details until I have more of the “big picture” look resolved. I do love the idea of a giant pill bottle as part of the building. I think the fabric of the bottle cap describes the ridged, round look very well and the color definitively states “pill bottle.”
