122 – Here’s What I’ve Got

You’ve seen many posts with unconnected sections, so thought you might enjoy seeing what I’ve got so far for the amusement style “dark ride” in my quilt about Fear.

I have been thinking about a hand holding an iPhone, showing some photo to a child who is reacting to it in surprise. I’ve put that in, but not sure it’s going to make it in the final piece. It’s not very understandable right now, so either I re-work it or omit it, as it might not be necessary. An art teacher once told me that every line in a drawing should add to the piece – if not, why is it there? I tend to complicate matters, so it is a thought that I try to remind myself of.
