23 – Green Has Got To Go
I decided to cut away the green background and then I prepared my long-arm for the next step. I still had a lot of green fabric, so I used that for the backing, layering batting and flaming orange on top. Then, the free-motion quilted painting was pinned and basted to the top. I pinned cheesecloth in place, covering the edges I wanted to hide and stitched with Monopoly invisible thread.
