24 – Artist Wins The Struggle
I had to paint some more cheesecloth but that went quickly. It was a novel experience to use this flimsy material and I was a little concerned that the carefully arranged twists and folds would come apart despite being sewn in place. To allay my fears, I painted on a thinned-down solution of matte medium over the cheesecloth to give it a little stability.
Now for a binding and a name and the work will be done. Total deviation from my planned route but I like the destination I got to. It’s been an interesting sidetrack from my Fear quilt and it feels good to have completed something unexpected!
