My goal in copying a newspaper photo was to see if I could duplicate the feeling I got from the photo. I was happy with the result, but at the same time, disappointed, as it was not my original and I hadn’t obtained a copyright release. I’ve never entered it into any shows and consider it to be for my own learning purposes. It’s been a very strong influence on my choice of inspiration material.
