An on-line group comes up with a different topic each month for it’s members to use as inspiration in making a 12″ square quilt. This month’s topic was “water.”

Right after I decided to make a quilt about flooding responding to the topic of “Water,” a major flood in my house occurred!

Paint Usage?
The cement blocks were painted to look wet, seeping with slow moving water.
Computer Usage?
I researched the many states of water before deciding on flood water.
Reliance on Reference Photos?
I researched how flooded areas looked and overhead views of houses.
