Techniques:
Turned edge appliqué, fused raw edge appliqué, burning, machine and hand embroidery

Knots & Tangles

Being in the experimental stage, I wondered, “what would happen if I burnt the edges of fabric, so that it would look like a charred treasure map?” Let’s just say that didn’t work out too well!
