Digitally painted, using Corel Painter software. No actual paint was used.

Extensive computer work utilizing Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. Once the digital file was sent to a commercial printer, no other computer usage.
Reliance on Reference Photos?
Reference photos were used while I was creating the imagery. Compare the final image to the reference photos to see how I was influenced while painting!
Knots & Tangles
Seven years to bring this quilt to completion, during which time I learned a lot about traditional techniques and construction. I didn’t know a thing about quilts and did not own any fabric! Almost entirely hand stitched, I also learned that I prefer using a sewing machine!
