Sewing on a lot of buttons without the stitches showing on the back of the quilt is not something that I’ll want to repeat!

I used the photograph supplied in an Esterita Austin class about realistic portraiture. I pushed the color choices so it would be unusual but remain believable.

What Was I Thinking? began with a realistic portrait workshop taught by Esterita Austin. I found that I was already familiar with the methods so I challenged myself to push my color choices.
