39 – Panoramic drawing example
The artist John Lee granted permission for me to use his drawing in this post as a good example of the type of extended visual I’m interested in. You can see the perspective grid guidelines he used to draw a scene that is much wider than a typical view along with a curved distortion.
I looked for other examples of this kind of perspective as guidance for how to go about drawing my vision in this manner. It was really helpful when I could see the preliminary grid guidelines that the artist used to construct their visions.
