Okay, it took seven years to complete this quilt, during which time I learned about quilt construction. I didn’t know a thing about quilts and did not own any fabric! Almost entirely hand stitched, I also learned that I prefer using a sewing machine!
Amusing myself while pushing my first child around in a baby carriage, I stepped into a quilt shop. Lessons were being offered to learn about quilting, and I signed on as a complete newbie. That began a life long adventure!
